WHAT KIND OF YOGA DO YOU TEACH?


You can see descriptions of all our classes if you scroll down to the bottom of our home page. We have classes for all abilities. If you are new to Yoga or a Beginner then Yoga All Levels or Gentle Yoga are your best options.




I’M NEW TO YOGA/HAVE AN INJURY/MEDICAL CONDITION, WHAT KIND OF YOGA DO YOU RECOMMEND?


If you have an injury or medical condition, please get the all clear from your doctor first. Gentle Yoga and Beginners Yoga classes are a good option to start with but all our classes are mixed ability, everyone just works to their own level.




I’M UNFIT AND STIFF, WILL I BE ABLE TO DO YOGA?


Yes! As long as you can breathe, you can do Yoga, it’s not just for flexible people. Doing Yoga will make you more flexible and fitter.




CAN MY SON/DAUGHTER COME TO CLASSES WITH ME?


Yes, secondary school aged children and teenagers are welcome to join in any of our classes. You don't have to accompnay them unless you want to.




HOW MANY PEOPLE DO YOU GET IN A CLASS?


For our Zoom classes the maximum capacity is 25 but most classes have less than 10 people attending which means you get more attention from the teacher.




ARE YOUR CLASSES MIXED?


Yes, we welcome men and women of all ages and backgrounds.




I DON'T HAVE ANY YOGA EQUIPMENT CAN I STILL JOIN IN?


For online classes you could just use a towel on the floor or do it directly on the floor. You can improvise with cushions, blankets and a dressing gown belt if you don't have Yoga blocks or a belt. For studio classes you must bring your own mat and any equipment you wish to use as none will be provided for safety reasons.




WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?


Loose, comfortable clothing such as a t-shirt and tracksuit bottoms or leggings/shorts.




DO I NEED TO BOOK IN ADVANCE?


Yes. Booking closes 2 hours before the class is due to start whether it's online or in the studio. You will be emailed the Zoom link before the class starts from whoever is taking the class so keep an eye on your inbox and check your spam too.




HOW DO I BOOK CLASSES?


You must book online or via the MindBody app which you can download for free onto your phone. We do not accept bookings via text or email.




I BOOKED A CLASS BUT HAVE TO CANCEL, WILL I BE CHARGED?


Please be aware that we operate a 12 hour cancellation policy for online classes and a 24 hour cancellation policy for studio classes. If you fail to give enough notice or simply don't show up, you will be charged.




WHEN DOES THE STUDIO CLOSE?


The last day of classes at the studio will be Wednesday 4th November. We will continue to offer online classes until 29th November.




HOW DO THE ONLINE CLASSES WORK?


You need to download Zoom on to your device (phone or computer) free of charge and then once you are emailed a link for the class you've booked, you just click on it. That's it.




WILL EVERYONE SEE ME WHEN I JOIN AN ONLINE CLASS?


Only if you want them to. You can choose not to be seen. Once the class starts the teacher will mute all participants to avoid disruption. You can communicate with the teacher via the chat option.




I HAVE UNUSED STUDIO CLASSES, WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS?


If you have unused studio classes then you can transfer that cerdit to yor account and put them towards online classes to be used by the end of November, or you can request a refund. Please email us to let us know if you would like to take up one of these options: info@nlys.co.uk
